Salon d'Automne
Salon d'Automne - a Parisian exhibition that has been held every year since its inception in 1903 as a reaction to the conservative policies of the official Salon. The Salon d'Automne displayed the paintings of Henri Matisse (French, 1869-1954) and Paul Cezanne (French, 1839-1906) in its early days, gaining acceptance for their work.
